Coming out of the Olympic mountains looking for a bite? Don't miss The Bushwhacker restaurant in Port Angeles! The name says it all.

Our group arrived tired but happy, and quite hungry, at 4:45pm. The pub opens at 4:30 so we got a beer, and the restaurant opens at 5:00pm so no problem!

Everybody in the group got the same thing - a Whacker Ale, the salad bar, and the fish & chips. It was all mighty fine indeed. We started with a spicy Bloomin' Onion which went well with the beer. The salad bar was crowded with locals - no wonder, it even had spinach and a big ol' pepper grinder. The fish and chips were dandy. We topped it all off with the Triple Berry Cobbler - oh yeah!

We all agreed we would return. Especially on a Sunday evening - all-you-can-eat Spaghetti night, including the salad bar, for ten bucks!
