The North Fork
Deming, submitted by Doug Hagen

After a day o' sweatin' on the north side of Mt B, a climber deserves a good meal. Is asking for good food too much to ask, I ask you? At the trailhead to the Coleman Glacier, Pat Wood bellowed "Follow me! I know just the place!" The rest of us, Audrey Lemek, Kevin Hines and Doug Hagen, piled into the car and kept up as best we could.

The North Fork provides entres' as well as delicious pizza and is a brewery house. The food was fresh, and obviously prepared with care.

The staff was friendly, familiar and laidback, though sometimes too much so. In fact we had to go to the bar to ask for our check where our waitress was engaged in lively conversation with an obvious regular. Kind of made me wish I was one.

Its kind of outside town and somewhat easy to miss.
