Professor Cliff Mass of the University of Washington will speak on the topic "Predicting Snow in the Washington Cascades."Professor Mass will explain how some of the forecast models developed at the University of Washington are used to derive accurate regional forecasts. Also, Professor Mass will talk about his new book, "The Weather of the Pacific Northwest," which will be published by the University of Washington Press this fall.
