New banner images for the site

I have given a new banner to the website for springtime. Philip Smith, a great climber, instructor, artist and friend, captured the familiar scene from camp during the Bushwhacker Basic Glacier Climbing Course. The title image was submitted by glacier course graduate and videographer Robert Chrestensen. Thanks to you both!

Seth Slideshow, March 16!

The Bushwhacker Climbing Club presents a Seth Pollack slide show, March 16. Seth will be showing slides from his adventurous trips.

The good folks at Feathered Friends are hosting this event. Doors open at 6:30, show starts at 7:00pm.

I’ll be sharing stories and images from several recent trips, including slot canyon hiking in the southwest, alpine climbs here in the Cascades, and our recent Antarctica voyage. I hope to see you there!

UPDATE: Great show Seth! We had about 80 people there and everyone had a great time.

Top Rope Outing to Frenchmans Coulee

I am leading a top-rope outing to Frenchmans Coulee, near Vantage, WA, Friday March 21. The outing is free, but is open to members only.

UPDATE: We had fun! Doxey, Stephanie, Chris A, and Jared out there rock climbing at Sunshine Wall. Good times!
