Courses and Clinics
Part of the mission of the club is to provide education. Our courses are fun as
well as instructional. The courses are basic, but most of the outings are strenuous
- that's all part of the adventure. Get ready for long days in rugged, beautiful
mountains!

Courses offered in 2010
The club will be offered a second year of the Backcountry Travel Skills Course in May. Four students graduatuated.
Wilderness Advanced First Aid (WAFA) Course was also successful with 11 folks getting certified.
The Outdoor Photography Course also had a successful 2010 session. We hope to have Seth and Steve back again for this one.
The Snow Shelter Clinic was successful the second time around this time. Beautiful weather...almost too beautiful to make a snow cave without having it collapse. :)
The Basic Glacier Climbing Course is off and running. We hope to have 16 grads at the end of June!
Glacier Skills Refreshers were once again successful for 2010.
The Telemark Ski Clinic is complete for January 2010.
Bushwhackers have completed the AIARE Avalanche I Course.
The Bushwhackers put on a Map & Compass Clinic February 21st.
