Basic Telemark Ski Course
Hoping to connect with an established outdoor adventure community? Looking to make friends and go skiing?

The Bushwhacker Climbing Club proudly announces the Basic Telemark Ski Course. This course will provide instruction and coaching in the telemark style of skiing. This will also be a great way to introduce yourself to the Club, a merry band of mountain enthusiasts.
The course consists of one Thursday evening gathering in town, and three days of ski instruction at Snoqualmie Summit ski area - see schedule below. There will be six to eight students, two assistants and one instructor.

Cost of the course is $50, and includes Allen and Mikes Really Cool TELEMARK TIPS, a great book. Note that the cost does not include gear or lift tickets at the ski area. Membership in the club is required.
This is an entry-level telemark ski instruction course for those who have prior alpine (fixed heel) and/or cross country ski experience. You do not need to be an expert skier (at either alpine or cross country), but this class is intended for people that have several previous seasons on snow skis, and feel fairly comfortable on them, and want to learn how to telemark.
Schedule and Registration
Due to circumstances, the club will not offer the course in 2006. Look for this course to return in January 2007.
